Des Moines Golden Retriever Club

Our Purpose: 

DMGRC is dedicated to preserving, protecting and improving healthy, loving, multipurpose Golden Retrievers.  Members are needed to help with all phases of the club.  The club has membership meetings, field sessions, obedience and conformation shows and education programs.  DMGRC is a member of the Golden Retriever Club of America and is licensed by the American Kennel Club.

Our Membership: 

Membership in DMGRC is open to any person interested in promoting the aims of the club, i.e. careful and restrictive breeding of genetically sound, instinctive and temperamentally balanced Golden Retrievers; persons interested in performance such as tracking, agility and obedience; persons interested in the human-animal bond through Pet Therapy; and persons who love their Golden Retriever for protecting the tennis ball and laying on the couch.  Applications are available from any member.  Membership includes a subscription to Retriever Report.
